We are made non-perishable

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep."
"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (John 10:14-15; 27-30)

Jesus is the Good Shepherd. There's a mutual knowing between the Shepherd and the sheep. He lay down his life for the sheep and no other. The sheep hear Shepherd's voice and follow him. His death for them has made them non-perishable. And no one is able to snatch them from the Father's and Son's hands because they are one in nature and purpose. "Amazing grace how sweet the sound..."

Therefore,
“I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through [works of] the law, Christ died for nothing!” (Galatians 2:21)
