The Cadillac brand presented an updated CT5 sedan at the Detroit Auto Show. This is a mid-size premium car with a sloping roof, the automaker himself calls it a fastback.
Externally, the front part of the car has been significantly updated. The headlights, front grille, and bumper have changed. The cabin has a new instrument screen, the diagonal of which has reached 33 inches.
The list of equipment, both standard and optional, has also been expanded. Most of the innovations have affected passive safety systems, in particular automatic braking in front of an obstacle is now included in standard equipment. The car was taught to be an Internet access point over the 5G protocol and made friends with Google services.

There have been no changes in terms of technology. The car is offered with two turbocharged engines to choose from: an inline two-liter four with 240 hp or a three-liter V6 with 340 hp. The CT5 also has a charged version with a liter V and a 6.2-liter V8 under the hood, but it is not mentioned in the company’s message about the updated sedan.
As before, the basic machines have rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is offered as an option.

Cadillac CT5 was introduced in 2019, and since then sales of the car have only been growing, and 2023 promises to be the most successful for it. At the same time, the demand for the model is higher in China than in North America. The updated version will go on sale in the spring of 2024.
