Robert Murray M'Cheyne (1813-1843), was a Scottish minister of the Gospel. He was a man hungry for God, a man thirsting for holiness with a heart of prayer. A man that had a great influence on people wherever he went, at home and abroad. Certainly a man whose life, faith and teaching is worth imitating. He was greatly used in the revival that broke out in his church at St.Peter's. His heart prayer was - "O Lord, make as holy as a forgiven sinner can be." and, "A Holy man is a mighty weapon in the hands of God." He died at age 29, burned out for God, and never married.

Charles Simeon

H.C.G. Moule (1892)
Price:
$10.00

This Biography on Charles Simeon is a rare gem. Simeon in a conversation with his friend Joseph Gurney answered his friend's question on how he endures so much persecution from others this way,"My dear brother, we must not mind a little suffering for Christ's sake. When I am getting through a hedge, if my head and shoulders are safely through, I can bear the pricking of my legs. Let us rejoice in the remembrance that our holy Head [Jesus] has surmounted all His suffering and triumphed over death. Let us follow Him patiently; we shall soon be partakers of His victory".
