The Mini company has introduced two new products: the Cooper electric compact and the Countryman electric crossover, the brand’s press service said.
The new Mini Cooper is built on a completely original platform designed for electric vehicles, which does not imply the installation of an internal combustion engine. The next generation of the model received a new design, which, although it retained the traditional round headlights and rear optics in the form of the British flag, but at the same time received simpler lines and a minimum of decorative elements.
In the cheapest version, the Mini Cooper E has a 184-horsepower electric motor on the front axle. Acceleration to the first hundred takes 7.3 s. The battery with a capacity of 40.7 kWh allows you to overcome up to 305 km on a single charge.

In the top-end configuration Mini Cooper SE. The output of the electric motor is increased to 218 hp, and the battery capacity is up to 54.2 kWh. Acceleration to the first hundred takes 6.7 s. The power reserve is 402 km on a single charge.

The Mini Countryman electric crossover in the basic configuration is equipped with a 204-horsepower electric motor on the front axle. In the top, the machine has two electric motors on both axles. Power — 313 hp. Power reserve — from 433 to 462 km, depending on the version.

In addition, in April 2024, according to the company, the premiere of the new Mini Aceman will take place.
Earlier Autonews.ru I reported that Mini introduced the Aceman concept. This is a small crossover with a length of only 4050 mm. That is, it is larger than the current three-door Mini, but smaller than the five-door Countryman model.
