Author:
Walter Marshall A.D.1692, ed. by Andrew Murray (late 1800s)
This is one of the best treatments on sanctification ever, by not so well known Puritan author. It is edited and with an introduction by Rev.Andrew Murray. Poet and a Hymn writer William Cowper from 1700s says of this book: "The doctrines Marshall maintains are, under the influence of the Divine Spirit, the very life of my soul, and the soul of all my happiness; that Jesus is a present Saviour from the guilt of sin by his most precious blood, and from the power of it by his Spirit".
